Designer Statement

As I study it, a new definition of design presents itself to me every year. Design, to its core, exists in ambiguity. Not quite as subjective as art but not quite as literal as rhetoric. Design remains one of the most striking forms of modern communication. Design has the ability to inform just as easily as it has the power to manipulate. Good design is so important to innovation as it doesn't just solve problems, it identifies them. I truly believe that embracing intentional design should be a key objective for any future endeavor.

Good design exists within an interconnected ecosystem, and a good designer knows how to seamlessly link all its components. A good designer is always aware of the bigger picture. Always aware that every project, every idea, every thought is expandable, and because of that, nothing is truly ever done. A good designer knows that a symbol can be recognized by millions and words can inspire billions.

If I were to promote my mission it would be somewhere along the lines of understanding the world through design. My versatility, adaptability, and sociability have continued to prove valuable during my professional journey, and my passion for cultivating limitless design systems remains strong. I welcome challenges and accept outcomes all in an effort to constantly grow, shape, and evolve just as design will.
